As I said, I
have really been blessed with some
wonderful family and friends.
So I decided to dedicate
a page to them this holiday
season, giving them 'virtual' gifts.
First
of all my family:
John:
If I could, the gift I would give
you
would be that of peace of mind --
to have
your worry's gone so you could simply enjoy your
life.
There would be a perfect house and job waiting for us
this
summer, your back would be better and you would
be free
to pursue whatever you choose in this life.
No bills hanging over your head; if
I could,
those things would all be gone.
Stephen:
If I could, the gift I would give
you
would be that of total self-confidence--
the
ability to see yourself as I do -- if you could you would
see
that you could do anything! I am so very
proud
of you and the man you are becoming.
Zachary:
If I could, the gift I would give
you
would be unlimited attention span --
so you
wouldn't have to struggle so much and have more
time
for fishing! I would also wish that the rest of the
world
would learn to be as compassionate as you are.
And Now
for My Special Friends
And
Extended Family :
Becky:
If I could, the gift I would give
you
would be that nice long vacation --
with
me of course, to someplace warm, and tropical
where
we could truly just relax together for awhile.
Mandi:
If I could, the gift I would give
you
would be that cure for your Lupus
your
daughter's have been wishing for.
While
you don't complain about it, I know how much
you
would enjoy being free of all the aches and pains and
medicine
for a change.
Monica:
If I could, the gift I would give
you
would be that of a cook --
since
I know how much you love to cook yourself! =)
For Kristy -- If I could I would give you
unlimited time to write!
Shannon
and Katie: If I could, the gift I'd
give
the two of you would be that all
of your
dreams would come true....you have
so many
of them and spend so much time
taking
care of everyone else's dreams.
Jeremy
and Mandi: If I could, the gift I
would
give to you would be that I could
bestow
upon you all the wisdom you will need
in the
years to come while you parent that beautiful new baby
of yours.
Since I can't do that, just follow your heart,
and
remember it is more important to be her parent than to be
her
friend.
Dad and
Chong: If I could, the gift I would
give
to you would be that you receive as
much
as you give to all of us. Since that is
impossible,
know that we all love you more
than
we can say.
Mom and
Max: If I could, the gift I would
give
to you would be a house next door to
us when
we move to Oregon next summer!
We will
miss you both so much!
And,
for the rest of you, I wish you
peace
of mind and of heart;
the
company of those you love;
enduring
health and friendship;
and
a wonderful 1999.
Happy
Holidays!
